You are invited to join me at a Gala Celebration of our Rotary Foundation to be held on Zoom Wednesday, February 23.
I will be speaking live with Rotary International President Elect Jennifer Jones and Director Elect Drew Kessler before the Gala kicks off, as part of their tour of Rotary Clubs and Districts from Alaska to Bermuda. Joining me will be my classmate from District 5040, Governor Lorne Calder, at a joint District hybrid party.
The Gala will be a fast-paced 90-minute celebration featuring:
- Rotary friends, like Trustee Dean Rohrs, RI Vice President Valerie Wafer, and Past RI Presidents John Germ and Ian Risely
- Great entertainment including Alex Lifeson & RUSH, the One Voice Children's Choir, BYU Vocal Point, and the internationally renowned violinist, Francisco Fullana.
- Auction items including trips on the Rocky Mountaineer, to Kelowna, Florida & France along with special items including an autographed Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess guitar, and an autographed polio baseball cap signed by Bill Gates and John Germ.
And if you can’t join us live on February 23, your ticket will allow you to watch a recording of the event at any time during the following week, with a link to be sent to you upon request.

Tickets are $120 USD, but only $20 is for the cost of the event with $100 being a fully tax receipted donation to The Rotary Foundation and a credit to your Paul Harris points and club goals. This is a fundraiser as well as a celebration, to ensure that we and our Foundation can continue to Do Good In The World.
